IC
Name: Adora
Canon: She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
Canon Point: End of series, season 5.
Age: 18
Appearance:
Adora
Adora's She-Ra Form
Abilities:
- healing powers
- not suffocating in outer space
-the ability to turn into a near seven foot tall muscular woman with super human strength.
- tracking and infiltration
- basic hand to hand combat
-her sword can turn into just about anything that can be carried with one hand from a rope, to cup, to a battle axe
- can summon her sword to herself and transform
(Optional) Personality:
Adora is the person most likely to over plan. She has a bit of a perfection complex due to being raised to be the golden child of the horde cadets. This tendency towards getting everything right can tend to overburden her and send her anxiety through the roof. Such examples were of her using her tabletop game to plot a strategy against an enemy fort and her frenzied preparation for the Princess Ball in which she remembered everything but he age of her hostess. She has a hard time truly relaxing the way other people do due to her life as a child soldier and always being on high alert.
While Adora's instincts are usually on point(knowing Shadow Weaver was tracking her), it can be frustrating for her to accept the fact that sometimes even best laid plans aren't enough (tracking skills failing her because she is unfamiliar with desert environments.) She likes structure, schedules and order.
Her life in Horde didn't expose her to many things outside of her militaristic upbringing and she still salutes authority figures and only recently learned what a 'party' was. I expect a lot of everyday pleasures take for granted won't be wasted on her.
Adora can be a bit naive despite her best intentions. She never really questioned or suspected the organization she was with or her adoptive mother's motives and was truly shocked to find out that they were the villains. Her best friend, Catra, was exasperated when she had to explain to Adora that it had been no secret. She also seems unaware how just how painfully obvious it was how envious and resentful Catra had grown towards her over the years for benefitting from Shadow Weaver's attention, though it just made Adora uncomfortable. It left her unprepared for Catra's betrayal. She also let her admiration of Huntara blind her to the obvious trap she was being led into. Adora makes a common mistake that decent people usually do - projects her own decency onto others when she really shouldn't'.
It does takes a lot for her to give up on a friend, though her forgiveness does have a limit. She'll opt to give someone a chance to be a better person, but if someone threatens the things she values like her friends or her world, she will commit to taking them down.
She also has a things for women with really strong physiques as was proven when she couldn't stop fawning over Huntara. In general Adora is attracted to women. The more bad ass looking, the better.
